E-Sick Leave (eNeschopenka)

Module Overview

Purpose

The E-Sick Leave module automatically processes electronic sick leave certificates received from the Czech Social Security Administration (ČSSZ). The system automatically matches e-sick leaves with employees and records work incapacity in their attendance records.

Target Users

The module is designed for HR personnel, managers, and employees who need to track work incapacities. Access levels range from viewing own sick leaves to full management of all e-sick leaves.

Configuration

Prerequisites

  • Enabled and functional Data Messages (ISDS) module
  • Automatic data message download configured
  • Active organization data box
  • Registration on ČSSZ ePortal with e-sick leave notifications enabled

Setup Steps

1. Configure Data Box for E-Sick Leave Receipt

  1. Open Data Messages module
  2. Edit the relevant data box
  3. Check Process e-sick leaves option
  4. Save changes

2. Activate Notifications on ČSSZ ePortal

Log in to ČSSZ ePortal and enable sending of work incapacity notifications to your data box.

3. Enable Module and Set Permissions

  1. Enable module in Settings → Enabled Modules
  2. Set user access rights in Settings → E-Sick Leave

4. Verify Employee Data

Ensure correct first name, last name, and date of birth for all employees. The system matches sick leaves based on these fields.

5. Enable Automatic Attendance Recording

Configure automatic recording of work incapacity in attendance settings.

User Permissions

  • 0 - No access: Cannot see the module
  • 1 - View own: See only own sick leaves
  • 5 - View subordinates: See sick leaves of subordinate employees
  • 10 - View all: See all sick leaves in company
  • 15 - Full management: Edit and manage all sick leaves

Working with E-Sick Leaves

Viewing Sick Leaves

The main screen shows all active and ended work incapacities with employee name, start date, end date, and status.

Automatic Matching

When a new e-sick leave arrives, the system automatically matches it to an employee based on first name, last name, and date of birth. If matching fails, the sick leave appears as unmatched for manual assignment.

Manual End Date Adjustment

Authorized users can manually adjust the end date of sick leaves if needed.

  • Check unmatched sick leaves regularly
  • Use export for payroll processing
